Main Walk A mixed rural/urban, mostly level walk, starting from the centre of the Village then up past the the Parish Church of St John The Baptist on St Johns Hill before dropping down to continue aroundFotherley on lanes and fields. Finally returning briefly along the banks of Black Brook towards Shenstone.(This walk will be completed in the opposite direction ton that completed in 2025 ) Amblers Lots of choices en route for morning coffee. Base Point The Base Point and parking is at “The Railway Inn” 4 Main Street, Shenstone WS14 0LZ Telephone 01543 480503, where we shall return for lunch at approximately 1.15pm Walkers Meet at 9.45am for a 10.00 am start Route Directions Arriving via Stonnall, the Inn is on the left Hand side shortly after passing the Railway Station. Arriving via the Birmingham Road from Sutton Coldfield: turn left at the Shenstone roundabout and continue along Pinfold Hill toward the Railway Station, the Inn is at a bend on the right. A lunchtime reservation for 14 Walkers and Amblers has been made at this stage. We have not been requested to pre order our meals Please let me know no later than Saturday 31st October whether you intend to walk & dine or just walk.
