Walk No 233… The Hawkshutts 5.0 Mile Walk Thursday 3rd October 2024 A circular walk crossing arable fields and following quiet tracks and lanes to visit Belvide Reservoir and passing the former Black Ladies Priory along the way. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy including wildfowl on the reservoir which is managed as a nature centre. Some very slight elevation on the latter part of the route but there are no styles. BOOTS RECOMMENDEDBase Point:The Base Point and parking will be at “Oakley Arms”, Kiddemore Green Road, Brewood, Staffs. Nearest Post Code ST19 9BH. Meet at 9.45am. Continue on the A5 for just over 1.0 Mile and turn left at a sign for Brewood (Right for Stretton) On arrival in Brewoood turn right along Bargate Street, leading to High Green and then Kiddemore Green Road (Bishops Wood) After little over 1.0 Mile from the village centre, arrive at “The Oakley Arms “ on the right.
