Brewood is one of Staffordshire’s largest villages, it’s charming Georgian buildings, imposing
Church & canal side setting provide an attractive base for this easy going walk. There is some
pleasant walking through a part of the village, passing the church of St Michael & St Chad. Then
following a short stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal before using bridleways, field paths and
quiet lanes before rejoining the Canal. There will be a glimpse of the 18th Century Chillington
Hall, home of the Gifford family… This should be a generally undemanding walk.
